Since I took a cheap shot at Abstract Expressionism, it's only fair that I poke at the realists too, and I am one. The rub of course is... if you are trying to be representational, it is swiftly obvious when things start going terribly wrong. ("Woah, dude. You suck...") The school of the photorealists, who worked on HUGE canvases, and created images that seemed realer than their subjects were in real life, intimidated the living crap out of me.
