An illustration prepared for the cover of the newsletter serving the local chapter of The Medieval Society for Recreation, a society of medieval enthusiasts. At the beginning of each year, a new King and Queen are crowned and their portraits grace the cover of the newsletter. I seldom do pro work for family, but that year's royalty are my sister-in-law, her husband, the King, and my niece.
