Product Catalog Makeover, December 2005 - January 2006

Acted as Design Consultant and Senior Art Director for this redesign of a 2006 Catalog for a wholesaler and manufacturer of Cases of every possible description. Their desire was to update their look and bring their catalog into a more upscale and mainstream space than the more "trade" look of previous versions of their catalog. FRS worked mostly on-site with the in-house designer.

I was brought in to bring the design to the "next level" and polish the overall look and solve a number if graphic problems and visual issues, and assist the in-house designer with the production.

This project was also made more interesting as I worked on site on a Windows Xp machine. Their version of InDesign* was of course one behind the one at the studio, and one ahead of the version on the laptop, which at the time was a G3 iBook, and was unable to run InDesign CS, the Mac version of which requires a minimum G4 processor. But we were able to work it out to everyone's satisfaction.
