Upcoming from Four Winds
Despite the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune, the current Members, Have decided to continue working and we going to go ahead and develop plans for a Spring Giveaway Concert in May. So we shall have an additional regular rehearsal in March and resume a full revised schedule in April. (Schedule updated 3.30.03)
Joining us this time around will be Jezibell, blessing us (if that is the correct word) with material from her new recording Charge of The Dark Goddess. ( www.joeandjezibell.com ) Soulful contributions from Stephanie Siemion. Middle eastern dance from our own Athallia Some of the Ladies of the Chorus have decided to surprise us with Lady May & The Bel-tanes. And seldom least, another merry parting shot from Joe The Klingon. Not so serious, and we hope to have some fun!

Donations towards our work are gratefully acceptedOur next installment in the Giveaway Concert Series. After a long and brutal winter, join us for an afternoon of sacred song, chant, music, dance and drumming and a few surprises as we Celebrate the new Spring and honor the Sacred Mothers of the Earth. Get up close and personal with the Chorus and our guests in this intimate venue.
We shall also remember and honor the great ambassador and teacher of the Drum, Babatunde Olatunji, who recently passed to the Ancestors.
Happy Mothers Day and see you all there!
We had so much fun at the February Bardic, we have decided to make a monthly Open Bardic Circle, a regular feature of the upcoming season, so we can still come together and keep singing while we plot and plan for the future. We've scheduled them for the Third Thursdays of of the month, next up, Thursday May 22. This has turned out to be a blessing for the Chorus, a chance to just "play" without worrying over much about playlist, concerts, schedule and events and let our hair down and just have a good time.,
We have also accepted an invitation to participate in the annual Queens AIDS Memorial this summer. It was very powerful to represent Earth Religion at this interfaith event. Saturday May, 31.
Summers tend to be thin for us, and Grove/coven very busy. After the AIDS Memorial, if there are no upcoming gigs, we may ease back to a leaner schedule, perhaps the Bardic plus one reharsal meeting a month to focus on our material.
