OK, we guess this counts as “Further Notice...”

While some Members have requested a little downtime, the will and general consensus of the Members remaining has shown that there is a desire and willingness to continue the mission. Reduced strength in numbers perhaps, but with good commitment.
The Third Thursdays of every month, continuing in March will ermine Open Bardic Circles. No specific agendas. We shall sing whatever we like and makes us feel good. The success of the February Bardic and the opinion of the participants, suggests that whatever else we choose to do, this shall be a feature of the schedule for the foreseeable 2003 season.
And we have chosen to go ahead with plans for a Spring Giveaway Concert Event. And we are looking at the Afternoon of
Sunday May 4thfor this one, in hopefully a fun, somewhat intimate setting. As has been traditional, we shall likely produce an event that shall include segments of the Chorus as an ensemble, and featuring Members individual projects and possibly some of our friends and guests.(3.3.03) As it turns out, Saturday May 11th turns out to be the superior date for all involved. Even though it is Mother's Day. We expect that we will include honoring the Mothers as part of the overall Spring Theme,
We have also been extended an invitation to participate in the annual Queens AIDS Memorial this summer. And I do believe we shall accept. Last years event was a highlight of our season and great fun, in addition to meeting some wonderful performers.
So, despite the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune, onward, ever onward! Hope you come along for the ride with us!

| The next installment of our Giveaway Concert Series. This time around we are going to try and trot out some of the Spring and Beltane material we haven't payed with in a while. Since the most avaliable date turns out to also be Mother's Day, we shall also be honoring the Mothers as well as part of the theme. And perhaps as few ... experiments. And as usual, we hope to have some surprises for you too. See you there! |
