NYC Witches' Annual Masquerade Ball, 1996
I
Designed and illustrated this poster for the 1996 Witches Ball,
A Benefit for People with AIDS. This was the first project that
I assembled entirely as a digital creation. The production of
the posters was being donated to the ball, but the only way to
make the turnaround was to sidestep the usual steps of a creating
a physical painting, shooting, scanning, composing a mechanical
and creating traditional optical color separations. By going all
digital, I was able to cut the production time by more than 50%.
The organizers were overjoyed with the results. The event raised
severa thousand dollars for the Cabrini Hospital AIDS Program.
